Its almost the end of June and we can start commenting on the book. I am so excited to hear what everyone thought of the book. So PLEASE add your thoughts. That is what makes a book club great!
I liked the book a lot Jay. It was totally you because it was a sappy love story that ended with everyone being happy but it was a good read. My favorite love story was obviously Dante and Floriana. I wasn't down with the Sylvia character and everything that she is about. I loved how Marina ended up realizing how much she loved Grey and her new family. I thought it was a great way to show that there is more than one person out there that could make you happy. and I loved the whole Clementine/Marina love/hate relationship. It reminded me that maybe I need to grow up a little and let go of somethings. I felt like I could relate to both of those women. I liked the book I would definitely recommend it to someone else.
I really liked this book too. I don't think I normally would have picked it up and I'm glad you picked it. I loved how all of the different story lines connected and I thought the author did a great job of pulling the reader into each of the story lines. I read this on the kindle and I was glad that I did, I looked up so many words!lol I really like it when an author uses different words for their descriptions, it makes the book more interesting for me.
One thing that I didn't like was the too fast too furious romance of Clementine and Rafael. I felt that it was slightly unbelievable for them to hit it off so quickly. Other than that it was a great book. Thanks Janelle!
I think too sometimes it is good to give people benefit of the doubt bc you never know what they went through. I liked the Dante and florian a the best too. I also love that she realized how much she loved grey and found happiness in him.
